The Greatest Burn — The Royal Sting

The greatest burn or sting in all of history, is the one pulled off by Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross. Satan thought he had finally beaten his enemy. From the attempt of King Herod to kill Jesus as an infant, to the hatred of the Sadducees and Pharisees, to the ridiculous trials He endured in Jerusalem culminating in Jesus’ execution on the cross. Satan thought he had finally won. But in fact, in the crucifixion, Jesus purchased our salvation, redeeming us from sin and the Law.
