Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Sunday Mornings

8:00am | 9:30am | 11:00am

From the nursery through 5th grade we have classes full of Bible lessons geared towards hands-on learning and helping our young children explore their faith. These lessons are designed to walk children through the Bible and give them a complete picture of God’s overarching plan for the world — and his plan for each of them!
Our staff and team of screened volunteers are committed to partner with parents to help kids learn to worship, gather, give and serve with their whole hearts!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check my child into their class on Sunday?
One of our check-in team members will check your kids into age-appropriate classes. If you are new, please make your way to our kiosk that has the “I’m new” sign.
Can I stay with my child in their class?
While any parent is welcome to join their child in class, we find that children generally adjust well and participate better after parents leave the classroom. Our teachers are trained to engage children in classroom activities quickly.
What if there is a problem with my child during service?
In the event that we need to contact you, we send you a text message. If you receive a message please exit the auditorium and go to your child’s classroom where a director will meet you to explain the situation. You may be contacted during the service if your child is injured, unable to be comforted for an extended length of time, soils himself badly or becomes ill. If possible, discipline problems will be handled in the classroom or by a director.
Do you screen your staff?
Every staff person has submitted an application form and had a background check. The Children's Director has also met with each applicant and checked their personal references.
What will my child do in their classroom on Sunday?
In every classroom, our teachers are focused on presenting Biblical truths in ways that children can understand. In our preschool and elementary areas, we are using “The Gospel Project.” The Gospel Project is a weekly Bible study that helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. This chronological study plan unites the big story and themes of Scripture while helping kids see how the whole Bible points to Jesus.
Our 4th and 5th-grade students (aka tweens) are in a unique season where they are deciding what they believe and have faith questions that can’t be answered with simple fill-in-the-blank answers. Our specially chosen curriculum, “Be Bold!,” gives our tweens exactly what they need—validation of their faith questions and a place to connect as they explore those questions together.
All of our kids ministry curricula help children to experience a Bible truth, whether through interactive storytelling, skits, sensory stimulation, or crafts. We also have a music time every Sunday where our children have the opportunity to worship the Lord through song. And, of course, through games and ice-breakers, our children get to play and be active in our learning environments.
How can I make Sunday morning a good experience?
Please help us by communicating with us about your child. Make sure they are healthy and have everything they may need every Sunday (diaper bag, jacket, medicine, etc.). Let us know about things like potty-training, allergies, or any other applicable problems.
How can I get involved?
There are many ways to be involved as a parent in the CrossTown arena. We need teachers, substitute teachers, student leaders, worship leaders, and event volunteers. Impacting your lives is so exciting and we would love to have you join our team!

Kindergarten through 3rd grade kids are always geared up and ready to go!

Whether the kids are rehearsing their memory verse, dancing to the worship songs, or playing with the gigantic parachute, they have fun every week learning together about God and each other. Interstate 316 meets at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. with a different curriculum series at each service. These lessons are designed to walk kids through the Bible and give them a complete picture of God’s overarching plan for the world — and his plan for each of them!
