Fish to Sheep

When John tells his readers that “the whole world would not have room for the books that could be written,” he is not exaggerating. John has been very selective in what he has chosen to present as evidence in favor of his conclusion that Jesus is, the Son of God and the Savior of the world. And in his final words, John testifies that the words of this book are “the gospel truth.” So it is not because there is not enough evidence that we are eternally lost. John has put the evidence before his readers, and he encourages each of us to consider the evidence.
