Not a Church Tax

How do get church people to give the money needed to fulfill the church's mission? In Paul's second letter to the Corinthians, chapters 8 and 9, he gives a variety of motivations for meeting the needs of the ministry in Jerusalem. All of this is not necessarily a command—it is not a tax—but he asks the church to prove that their joy is full and their love is genuine.
