Pride Rejects Grace

John intentionally shocks us by telling us that Jesus’ brothers do not believe in him. And he tells us what their unbelief looks like. Pride, at its core, is the rejection of grace and the craving for human approval. And faith, at its core, is not after human approval but embraces the God of grace.
