United with Christ

Christ’s death not only secured our justification, it also secured everlasting life through our union with Him. We have been baptized with Christ in death so that the Body of sin may come to nothing and we may be resurrected with Him and made alive to God. We are slaves to righteousness, having been set free from sin, that we might bear the fruit of sanctification which leads to eternal life.
